Senior Yoga

Our Senior Yoga program has been designed to meet the special requirements of aging people. The unique approach allows them to experience the full benefits of yoga practice in a very comfortable and non-challenging setup.

The Senior Yoga class senior yogauses poses that can be practiced sitting on a chair, without the need of standing or lying on the floor. Standing is optional for some exercises. The relaxed and friendly environment allows for quick regeneration, stress relief and increased harmony.

Classes are 30-60 min long and include a warm-up series, several static yoga poses that are hold for 30-45 seconds and a final relaxation. The goals of this practice are:

  • Improved memory and mental focus,
  • Increased flexibility and muscle strength
  • Spiritual development
  • Spiritual preparation for the moment of passing into the light
